I’m going with a slightly different format this week, in the
form of an outline as I sketch out my first two month’s progress and retrospective. I must say, I’m pretty impressed – and thankful
– for the progress made in just 2 months!

more articles, higher word counts, and more viewers
·
Created Instagram (haven’t used it though)
·
Created Ko-fi.com/7zerofire
o
This site provides opportunity for fans to
donate toward the journey (buy me a “coffee”)
·
Created Pinterest
o
Have been
posting to Pinterest, but not seeing traffic from here yet
·
Attempting a 300+ word count goal for each
article
·
I check Google Analytics every day to watch for
progress
·
Facebook boost has generated a lot of traffic to
boosted articles, especially for the latest one “This is 7zeroFIRE”
Retrospective:
·
Facebook ads are driving great traffic!
·
Need to drive this same traffic to Amazon Merch
Things I would recommend / repeat
·
Ads are critical for beginners to drive traffic,
and it’s pretty affordable. Make sure
you prioritize what you promote though.
Not all articles are equal, and you can’t afford to boost them all.
Things I would do differently
·
I’ve learned A LOT in these first 2 months. At this point, I’m not sure I would do anything
differently per say, because then I wouldn’t have learned.
· When you first start out, you don’t know what you don’t know. That’s all part of the journey.
Amazon Merch by 7zeroFIRE
·
Approved for Amazon Merch account 3/26/21
o
took 1 week from request to approval
·
Started at first level, Tier 10
·
Created / uploaded 10 product designs
·
Purchased my own 1st 10 products
·
Promoted to 2nd level, Tier 25
·
Purchased my own 15 products (total 25)
·
1st REAL CUSTOMER SALE!!! 4/27
o
Lotus flower pink purple mosaic Pop-Socket
·
Still haven’t been progressed to level 3, Tier
100
o
It’s been 3.5 weeks since I purchased the
balance of 25 products
·
A new process was initiated 4/29…. this might be
holding my account back from being advanced.
Will give it another week and see what happens.
·
I’ve been uploading more designs and saving as
Draft so that I’ll be ready to publish as soon as my Tier is promoted
Retrospective
·
I’d like to add Google Analytics for Amazon
pages so I can track views
·
I’d like to know how many views I’m getting, and
then understand how many SALES I’m MISSING OUT on
·
Would like to Sponsor or Advertise merch, but
want to get to Tier 100 first to have larger inventory / options
·
Want to set up an Amazon “Merch Brand Page” so
that customers can view all 7zeroFIRE products on one page
o
This requires a registered brand, ie registered
trademark – and yes, that costs money
o
5/7 – applied for 7zeroFIRE trademark
Things I would do differently
·
I definitely need higher quality designs for my
Amazon Merch
I have my own website!
I made some improvements this weekend, and now you can both read the 7zeroFIREblog AND view the current 7zeroFIRE products on Amazon. Curious?
Take a stroll on over to 7zeroFIRE.com to check it out.
As always, thank you for your readership and support!
