I learned something new today. When looking at trading volume, I had
wondered if it referred to movement of shares, or movement of orders. The answer – trading volume is the movement
of shares. As an example, someone buys
100 shares of Stock A, and someone else trades (sells) 1000 shares of Stock A – that
is a trading volume of 1100.
OMG! So many SPACs IPO-ing
today and this week! I’m doing research
today to understand what potential mergers are lurking in these SPAC partnerships. One of particular interest is Queen’s Gambit Growth
Capital ($GMBTU), a SPAC led entirely by female executives.
There’s growing data supporting that female-led businesses
are just as successful, if not more successful, than male-led businesses, and
female-led businesses are on the rise.
The Queen’s Gambit is an investment I’m excited to support!
